Union Pacific Cancer Cluster The Union Pacific Rail Yard, northeast of Houston, is contaminated by the chemical linked with a cancer cluster. These chemicals include dioxin as well as creosote. A study found that the groundwater and the soil around the railyards were contaminated by significant quantities of the toxins.
